While other wall or ceiling-mounted UV luminaires use louvers to contain the UVC light beam to the upper area of the room (for human safety), URSA UVGI projectors utilize superior optical design to create a highly focussed and precise UV beam without any leakage. Traditional UVC luminaires, being enclosed and louvered, suffer lower germicidal efficiency and impaired coverage compared to URSA, which safely achieves much higher UVGI intensity with 180° coverage (ensuring a complete zone of irradiation around the device).
No AC? No problem!
If no wall-mounted split air conditioner is available, the URSA-F fan module offers an easy and effective way to achieve optimum air recirculation at the point of germicidal UV sterilization. Quick and easy attachment to the URSA-28 mirror makes it a simple and modular solution for enhanced convection, ensuring exhaled contaminated air is drawn towards the site of peak UVGI intensity.
